Does This “Tattoo” Cheek Tint Really Last All Day?

K-Palette 1 Day Tattoo Lasting Cheek Tint Review

Living in a hot and humid country, plus your skin is also an oily type, makeup will surely not last at least two hours on you. Unless you use a great base or setting spray. But sometimes, we just want a quick makeup application for whatever reasons, you just put it and you’re done! And so while I was looking for a good waterproof eyeliner, I stumble upon K-palette again. I keep hearing that brand from local makeup forums and celebrities like Heart Evangelista. So I decided to give it a try, I bought their famous eyeliner, and then I got a lip tint and cheek tint as well. Since I am reviewing popular Asian blushes this week, I decided to do this K-Palette 1 Day Tattoo Lasting Cheek Tint review as well.

WHAT IS IT?

The K-Palette 1 Day Tattoo Lasting Cheek Tint is a blush formulated with moisturizing ingredients that leave the skin glowing. It has a special penetrating color formula and applies like a non-streaky powder. It applies smoothly and lasts long. It also claims to be non-sticky and lightweight on the skin.

KEY INGREDIENTS

It is infused with botanical squalane, water-soluble collagen, and sodium hyaluronate.

PERFORMANCE

APPLICATION: Using your fingertips, pat it onto the apples of your cheeks toward your temples.

SCENT: It is unscented.

PACKAGING: It is packaged in a mirrored flip-top compact for on-the-go application. It also comes in 6.5 grams.

FORMULA: Unlike the Sunnies Face Airblush and the 3CE Take A layer Multi-Pot, the K-Palette 1 Day Tattoo Lasting Cheek Tint is not a cream to powder formula. It’s just balmy.

FINAL THOUGHTS

Despite its balmy formula, the K-Palette 1 Day Tattoo Lasting Cheek Tint is definitely non-greasy, non-sticky, and more importantly, long lasting! The finish is very sheer but buildable. If you’re a morena like me, then it will take you at least 3-5 layers for the color to pop. But if you have pale skin like most Japanese (this is a Japanese brand by the way), then 2-3 layer is probably enough.

I took this on a test when I went out for an errand the whole day. I only wore this with my It Cosmetics CC Cream, and the CC cream was gone by noon, but this cheek tint still has a slight tint by night. But it depends on the shades.

This cheek tint comes with only 3 shades, which are Orange (this shade in the review), Peach, and Rose. Among the 3, the boldest color which is Rose is the one which lasts really long. Also, since this cheek tint suits both oily and dry skin since the balmy formula really blends well.

VERDICT

PROS: Non-greasy, non-sticky, and long lasting.

CONS: Only comes in 3 shades that suits paler skin tones. But morenas can use them depends on their undertones.
