Best Sunscreens for Acne-Prone Skin: QUICKFX Pimple Eraser Oil Free Sunscreen Review

Before I start my QUICKFX Pimple Eraser Oil Free Sunscreen review, let me say this again even though I already sound like a broken record: you should wear sunscreen every day, all year-round even if you’re only staying at home. Because no matter how many skin care products you use, even if they have a lot of good reviews, or how expensive they are if you don’t protect yourself from the harmful UV rays then your skin concerns will just continue.

I am also aware that some people have issues with sunscreen. In the Philippines, most of the sunscreens available are too greasy for our warm humid weather. And if we did find one that is perfect for our weather, some of us have acne-prone skin and get a break out from it.

Luckily, I discovered this brand called QUICKFX. I don’t know much about them yet but I do know they are made in the Philippines but formulated in Korea. And they have a Pimple Eraser line which includes sunscreen.

I couldn't really say anything bad about this sunscreen. It feels comfortable under a face mask which is something we need to consider nowadays, and it doesn't break out my acne-prone sensitive skin.
No white cast
Has a semi-dewy finish that may feel off to some people.

QUICKFX Pimple Eraser Oil Free Sunscreen with SPF50+ is a lightweight and non-oily physical sunscreen. It is specially designed for acne-prone, sensitive skin. It provides UVA/UVB protection without causing acne breakouts and without the white cast. Easily absorbed by the skin. Perfect for daily use.

SCENT: It is unscented but like most products, it has this generic “cream scent”. But it will not bother you if you’re scentsitive.

FORMULA & TEXTURE: It feels light on the skin, is easy to blend, and has a semi-dewy finish.

My biggest problem with most sunscreens I’ve used is they’re breaking me out. Especially when the mask mandate started due to the pandemic my acne worsened.

First of all, QUICKFX Pimple Eraser Oil Free Sunscreen is affordable. It is also easy to find in the Philippines, it doesn’t leave a white cast on my morena skin tone, and it feels light and non-greasy although it has a semi-dewy finish. Most importantly, it feels comfortable under a face mask, which is something we need to consider nowadays.

I’ve been using this since last October 2021 and as of writing this, I already ordered my second bottle. I don’t really have anything bad to say about this product based on my experience. But I think it’s dewy finish my feel off to some Filipinos because dewy skin is not “our thing” but it can easily be solved with a good loose powder.
