BLK Creamy Cheek Paint Review: Is This The Glossier Cloud Paint Dupe We’ve All Been Looking For?

blk creamy cheek paint review | style vanity

I love Glossier Cloud Paint and so does many people, however, its price, inaccessibility in the Philippines, and the huge markup of the local re-sellers made their Filipino fans look for a good alternative. That’s actually the most frequently asked question in my Instagram every time I post the Cloud Paint in my IG stories. Believe it or not, I spent so much in liquid blushes last year just to find the best dupe, but I failed. So when I read some posts saying that BLK Cosmetics has a liquid blush that resembles it, I wanted to try it ASAP. Unfortunately, they’re always sold out online. So I was so glad when it is included from the PR box I received from them. But was it really the best Glossier Cloud Paint dupe we Filipinos has been searching for? Scroll down to read my BLK Creamy Cheek Paint review.

NOTE: I will mention Glossier Cloud Paint in this review several times.

PRODUCT RATING

WHAT IS IT?

BLK Creamy Cheek Paint is a foolproof, K-style liquid blush. It has a light, silky texture that melts on the skin seamlessly, delivering a soft veil of color with a healthy, second-skin finish.

PERFORMANCE

APPLICATION: Using the soft tip applicator, dab a small amount on the apples of your cheeks and blend with your fingers.

SCENT: It is unscented.

PACKAGING: It is packaged in a tube that resembles a mini liquid lipstick. It also has a chubby doe foot applicator, which makes it easy to apply on the cheeks. It was actually something I wanted when I first used the Glossier Cloud Paint.

MY EXPERIENCE

This is so easy to blend, there’s no such thing as “too much” on the BLK Creamy Cheek Paint because it blends really well on the skin and leaves a natural-looking finish. It also lasts a decent amount of time, like 4 hours tops on me. When I do product reviews, I don’t really like comparing a product in every aspect to another product but I can’t help it with this one. It is indeed the perfect dupe of the Glossier Cloud Paint but better! Because it’s much easier to apply thanks to the doe-foot applicator while squeezing the right amount out of the Cloud Paint is a constant challenge. Plus, this is easily accessible in the Philippines and more affordable!
