There have been more than 10 seasons of American Horror Story, and many of the same people have come back as different characters in different seasons. Since each season is separate and complete, it’s easy for actors to do that. Emma Roberts, for example, has been in four different seasons of the show and may appear in more of them in the future.
From Child Actress to Mature Professional
Her talents as an actress have brought her from the Nickelodeon stage all the way to the big screen and several TV series, where she’s been able to showcase her talents and experience different characters.
Roberts is the niece of actress Julia Roberts but has worked hard to make a name for herself in her own right. She hasn’t focused on her name or her famous lineage, and is more interested in playing roles that suit her and that she believes in. Getting into the business as a child helped her find her way toward larger and more mature roles, and she’s now been in several movies and shows where she’s been able to show her versatility and everything she can do.
She enjoys the American Horror Story series because she can play a character for a season and then move on to a different character at a later date. That’s true whether it’s the next season of the show or a few seasons later, and she also has the opportunity to play other roles in other series in the meantime. There’s a lot to be said for the experience of starting out as a young person and finding the right way to focus on a career and all the things that matter.
Much More Than American Horror Story
Her work in AHS isn’t the only thing Roberts is focused on these days, either. She’s also a mom to a young son, and he takes up plenty of time and energy while bringing a lot of joy to her life. He’s growing fast, and she sometimes shows him off on social media so her fans can see how great he is and how quickly he’s growing up. She keeps him out of the spotlight, though, so he has time to just be a kid and learn about the world around him.
As Roberts focuses on season 12 of AHS, there’s speculation about another season in the works. She’s a spokeswoman for Neutrogena, as well, and has other projects in the works. The future looks bright and full of potential, as Roberts moves past her Nickelodeon days and into the realm of multiple options where she can show her talents to the world and grow her fan base.
