At the end of the day, the proposal is more for them than it is for you. It’s definitely not for your family or social media followers. Don’t make a spectacle of the proposal if it would make your partner uncomfortable even if it’s tempting. If they love the spotlight, go for it.
3. Pick the Perfect Time
Is there an important date coming up? Maybe the first time you met, or the first date, or even an anniversary?
Pro tip: Don’t choose a holiday unless you’re positive that a “yes” is on the table. You don’t want to ruin it for either of you.
These are all perfect times to propose. Your partner already feels romantic and happy and you’ll likely already have a date or something fun planned together.
4. Pick the Perfect Place
Does your partner have a favorite date spot? Is the place where you met notable and accessible?
Pick something romantic that’s meaningful to both of you. If your partner is a public person, proposing in a crowded place with meaning is great. Disney proposals, for example, are popular.
If your partner hates the spotlight, even a quiet proposal in bed after a night in can be perfect.

So we mentioned that your proposal isn’t for social media, and that’s true, but that doesn’t mean that you won’t want to post it and the pictures are a beautiful way to keep this memory forever.
You can have a friend do it if you’re low on cash, but hiring a professional will ensure that things go smoothly. They’re experts at staying hidden before the big event and capturing the exact right moment.
