In honor of National Lipstick Day, I will be featuring my five favorite lipsticks from Korean and Philippine brands. Because I’m sure many of you are familiar with many western brands, so let me introduce some of the best from our side of the world. For my fifth and final feature this year, scroll down to read my Moonshot Honey Coverlet Stick Extreme review. This is a limited edition lipstick created by Moonshot in collaboration with Korean actress, Yoo In-Na. Their Honey Coverlet Collection also comes with an eyeshadow palette and foundation but I only opted for the lipstick.

If you don’t know her, Yoo In-Na starred in many top rating K-Dramas such as Goblin, Happy Once Again, My Secret Hotel, My Love From The Stars and more.

MY THOUGTHS
Yoo In-Na x Moonshot Honey Coverlet Stick Extreme feels like a glamorous lipstick. It's not transfer-proof but it lasts up to four hours and highly-pigmented.

Beautifully designed lipsticks.

WHAT IS IT?

Moonshot Honey Coverlet Stick Extreme follows the style of the celebrity, these lippies come in bold, vivid colors that something a little extra to any look. In an “Extreme Blur” finish, they glide onto the lips with a soft, velvety matte finish, and contain murumuru seed butter to keep your pout nice and supple. It has 7 gorgeous shades and the one I got is the 902 Petal Petal.

PERFORMANCE

APPLICATION: Pop open the cap, twist up and apply directly onto the lips.

SCENT: It has a mild vanilla scent.

PACKAGING: It’s a bullet lipstick with minimalist yet very chic design. I should also note that the packaging has a matte finish like the lipstick. The box is also quite nice, with an autumn theme.

TEXTURE & FORMULA: It has a really matte finish but doesn’t feel drying on the lips. Although, if you have chapped or dry lips, it’ll definitely show.

MY EXPERIENCE

Despite being highly pigmented, it’s easy to make a blur or ombre effect with this product. It’s not transfer-proof but it lasts up to four hours only if you don’t eat or drink. But there’s something about the shades and look of the lipstick that gives you a feel of glamour.
