Google owns YouTube, so all you need is an internet connection and a Google account to log in. That means there are billions of hours of content for you to view. Sony’s Playstation Vue is perfect if you want to get a bundle deal where one service has local affiliates. The catch? This particular package requires that you own both PS3s and Xboxes, which limits its audience. Still, PSVue lets you watch sports, cable news, and classic movies from its network. In the fall of 2018, Sony announced that it would stop showing ads on the platform, allowing for uninterrupted viewing. If you grew up in the 90’s, Crackle, formerly known as FilmOn Xtra, is a nostalgic trip down memory lane. UWatchFree — Available on Roku and Apple iOS devices — offers more than 60 channels, including HBO, Cinemax, Showtime, Starz, and Epix. They’re free when you sign up, but it costs $15 per month after that. UWatchFree also allows users to download programs to their devices for offline viewing. To access this feature, though, users must subscribe to a premium plan.
