The highlight ingredient is colostrum, known for being protein-rich and full of nutrients that support skin recovery. Add in fermented probiotics like bifida and lactobacillus to strengthen the barrier, plus humectants like hyaluronic acid to lock in hydration, and you’ve got a formula designed to mimic the effects of a full skincare routine in a single mist.
My Take on Performance
Think of PURCELL as the skincare version of a refreshing iced latte—it wakes your skin up, gives you that immediate pick-me-up glow, but you’ll still need a real meal (aka moisturizer) to stay full. On oily or combination skin, the lightweight mist works nicely as a midday refresher without suffocating pores. On dry skin, though, it won’t cut it alone—you’ll want to layer with a cream.
The probiotic-ferment angle is clever. Skin with a compromised barrier often struggles with redness or texture, and this blend does seem to calm things down over time. Still, it’s not a miracle-worker for pore size (nothing truly is). What it does well is make pores look smoother and less obvious when skin is hydrated and plump.
I also like applying after my makeup like a finishing spray because I noticed, besides protection, it gives me a subtle glow and helps my makeup last longer.
