1. Microtel by Wyndham Mall of Asia – This is the nearest hotel to SM MOA Arena, you can walk from here to the venue. You can also use the Bridgeway of the SM MOA Arena to S Maison Mall to walk back to your hotel which I love since there are pickpockets outside the venue. This is the hotel I often book whenever I attend a concert in MOA Arena. But you have to book early, because rooms sold out fast whenever there’s an event.

2. Conrad Manila – Another hotel only a few walks away from SM MOA Arena. This is across Microtel and beside S Maison Mall and you can also use the SkyBridge from MOA Arena to S Maison Mall. The rooms are spacious and the view is beautiful. Some artists (that I will not name just like with my list of hotels near PH Arena) who performed in MOA Arena also stayed in this hotel. The only con is this is the most expensive hotel on this list.

3. Golden Phoenix Hotel Manila – This one is across the SM Mall of Asia compound so it’s also walkable from the Arena, around 3 minutes. It’s also very affordable, a favorite among concert-goers.

4. Citadines Bay City Manila – This is beside Golden Phoenix Hotel. Newer and very spacious room. Besides the usual refrigerator and electric kettle, there’s a water dispenser and microwave oven inside our room. This is also beside a super market and other restaurants. We stayed during J-hope’s concert in Manila. Around 4 minutes walk from MOA Arena.

5. HOP INN Hotel Aseana City – Offers clean and comfortable rooms, conveniently located near major shopping malls and SM Moa Arena. It’s a 12-minute walk from MOA Arena. This is also the most affordable in this list.

6. Hotel101 Manila – Casual property with unfussy rooms, outdoor pool, and dining options at EDSA Extension, Mall of Asia Complex, Pasay. This is where I booked my parents when they had a business convention to attend in SMX. Around 15 minutes walk for those who walk slow.

7. Seda Manila Bay – This is actually a walking distance to Ayala Mall By The Bay and Parqall Mall. It is also near HOP INN Aseana and SMDC Festival Grounds. But if you like walks and a very nice room or everything else were fully booked, you might consider this one. You can also book a grab or Angkas.

8. TRYP by Wyndham Mall of Asia Manila – This is in the Seaside area but you can still walk to MOA Arena from here, if you like long walks. You can also book a grab or Angkas if you’re too tired to walk. This place is barely new and their buffet is popular on social media.

9. The Hub District Garden Suites – A relaxed budget hotel featuring simple rooms with flat-screen TVs and a terrace located at 237A Villaruel, Pasay, Metro Manila. This around 15 minutes away from MOA Arena via car.

A Tip I Learned the Hard Way
Book your hotel as early as possible. The moment a concert is announced in MOA Arena, rooms start disappearing fast. Prices? They go up just as quickly the closer you get to the date.

Why there is no Condotel on this list?
For cheaper accommodations, there are many condotel (Condo Hotel) or rooms in condominiums that you can rent, like AirBnB. The only reason I am not listing them here is because my sister-in-law had a bad experience when she rented a room.
A little backstory…
A man entered her locked room! Luckily, she hasn’t gone back to her room yet but it looks like the goal was to steal her stuff. How did she know? My brother installed a TP-Link Tapo Home Security Wifi CCTV Camera in her room for safety. Around noon or afternoon while my sister-in-law was away, they got a motion-detected notification. They saw and recorded the man entering the room which helped them claim a refund (but it was a long process). Of course, this doesn’t happen to everyone. This is just a warning to be vigilant. If you opt for a condotel, do not leave valuable items, bring a portable anti-theft lock, and a CCTV if you can.
