First things first: it’s expensive

Let’s not sugarcoat it. NOL Play & Stay is not cheap. But the key thing to understand is that you’re paying for convenience, not luxury. The package bundles your concert ticket and hotel accommodation so you don’t have to chase both separately — which, during a BTS concert, is more stressful than it sounds.
The hotel stay is short

Your accommodation is 3 days and 2 nights — that’s it. If you’re hoping for a longer trip, you’ll need to sort the extra nights yourself. That said, NOL does seem intentional about hotel location. For my RUNSEOKJIN_EP tour in Chiba, I was placed at MYSTAYS PREMIER Akasaka in Tokyo — right near the iconic Harry Potter-themed train station, which was a lovely bonus I wasn’t expecting.
PRO TIP
Want more nights at the same hotel? Search it on Agoda and use the code ALYAGODASTAY to extend your stay at a better rate.
You don’t get to pick your seat
This is probably the biggest thing to wrap your head around. NOL assigns you to a designated section — you have no say in where you sit. Each booking allows a maximum of 2 tickets, so solo and duo travellers are the sweet spot for this package.
The silver lining? If you book together with a friend, you’re guaranteed to be seated next to each other. For concert-goers who dread the chaos of getting split up, that peace of mind is real.

Expect a slow information drip
Don’t panic if you don’t hear anything right away. Ticket pickup details and hotel confirmation are sent separately via email — and based on my experience, they arrived about 4 (ticket pickup details) to 5 (hotel details) days before the concert. It’s nerve-wracking, but you have to be patient.
So — Play & Stay or DIY?
It really comes down to what kind of traveller you are.
| BOOK PLAY & STAY IF… | DIY IF… |
| – You hate logistics – You’re going with one friend – You want guaranteed seating together – It’s your first time at a BTS concert abroad | – You care about seat location – You’re travelling in a bigger group – You’re comfortable booking independently |
Play & Stay isn’t for everyone, but for the right kind of concert-goer, it genuinely takes the stress out of one of the most chaotic events in the fandom calendar. Just go in knowing what you’re actually getting. At the end, going to the BTS concert as a fan is always worth it.
