Wuthering Waves 3.0 finally released, which introduces a brand new Resonator and signature weapon. However, the new banners also include reruns of some old favorites and their weapons too. Both the Resonators and characters are in separate banners, forcing players to spend their Convenes wisely. Here’s a guide to all the signature weapons and some possible substitutions for each.

🗓️ How Long Will Phase 1 Last?
With the new update having started on Christmas day on December 25th, there’s the question on how long the first phase will last. Version 3.0 of Wuthering Waves will be running for the rest of 2025. Then, the phase plans to end on January 15th, 2026 to make way for a new phase and Resonator taking their turn in the spotlight. Looking forward to the new Resonators? The first phase of update 3.0 will feature three new banners. There’s the 5-star banner with the new Resonator, Lynae, and reruns Cartethyia and Ciaccona. The classic 4-star and separate weapon banners will also be running to coincide with the 5-star characters. However, the weapon banner will contain the signature weapons of the featured 5-stars, making it extra important.
🔫 Lynae’s Weapon: The Spectrum Blaster
Lynae is one of the few Pistol users in Wuthering Waves, so it’s nice to see her glamorous choice of guns here. The Spectrum Blaster actually stacks on her Basic Attack stat while buffing her Critical Rate percentage by a huge margin. She even buffs the Basic Attack damage that the rest of her team does, working as a sort of Sub-DPS bonus.

⚔️ Cartethyia’s Weapon: Defier’s Thorn
Cartethyia is one of the strongest Main DPS Resonators in Wuthering Waves, but is only able to when considering a few factors. For one, she plays heavily off of the Aero Erosion effect that she inflicts on herself. While this stacks on her Attack power, she requires a high enough maximum Health stat to perform. This is where her signature weapon helps her out when increasing these stats.

🌳 Ciaccona’s Weapon: Woodland Aria
Ciaccona is another example of a powerful Sub-DPS that can easily fit in a team with the other two featured 5-star Resonators. She has multiple Negative Statuses in her kit that can effectively debuff enemies for more aggression. She’s also perfect for Aero-focused and Spectro Frazzle teams thanks to her elemental application. All these benefits are further boosted by her Pistol, the Woodland Aria.
