Perfumes Worn by Seventeen Members

And where to buy them in the Philippines

perfumes worn by seventeen members

I have been obsessing with perfumes lately, and also with the Kpop group Seventeen. So I was thrilled to learn that I am wearing the same perfume as some of them. I know it sounds crazy but if you’re a fangirl, you know the feeling of having something in common with the members of your favorite kpop group. So below are the perfumes worn by Seventeen members and where to buy them in the Philippines, including decants and 2ml samples. Heads up, this list doesn’t include Hoshi, Jun, Woozi, and Seungkwan because I couldn’t find any info about their perfumes.

S.Coups

Jo Malone Blackberry & Bay – It has a burst of deep, tart blackberry juice, blending with the freshness of just-gathered bay and brambly woods. Vibrant and verdant. This is available in Rustans and you can buy a 2ml sample here.

Hermes H24 – This has an enveloping sage, an electrifying narcissus, an invigorating rosewood, and a warm, metallic note of sclarene. A lively, sensual, and bright perfume. Available in Rustans and you can buy a 2ml sample here.

Creed Aventus – This is a Sensual, audacious, contemporary scent, Contains notes of black currant, pineapple, patchouli, jasmine, musk, and ambergris. Available in Rustans, and you can buy a 2ml sample here.

Wonwoo

Tom Ford Bitter Peach – Before Wonwoo revealed this is his perfume, I already tried this in Sephora when I was in Singapore. This was one of the perfumes I really wanted to try but ended up not buying. It doesn’t smell bad, it’s just not my type of scent. If I remember correctly it is fruity and floral but in my head, it’s like a fermented peach. You can buy this on Tom Ford Beauty’s official page in Lazada in a full bottle and 10ml atomizer. But you can buy a 2ml sample here.

Joshua

Blue de Chanel – A citrus woody fragrance for men. Deep, fresh, intense, vibrant, sensual & seductive. Top notes of the citrus accord, vetiver & pink pepper. Heart notes of grapefruit, dry cedar tones & labdanum. Base notes of frankincense, ginger & sandalwood. You can buy this in Zalora and a decant is available here.

Lola James Harper #9 The Comic Store of George – This one is a room spray that Joshua uses as perfume. It’s actually him who introduced me to Lola James Harper after I watched his Vogue interview with Vernon. But I haven’t tried this exact scent yet, I ended up getting the #11 The Coffee Shop of JP, but according to their website #9 smells like a wood floor, the vintage books & magazines. I know it may not sound so nice but I have a perfume which is Byredo 1996 that smells like vintage books and magazines and I love it. You can buy Joshua’s room spray on Lola James Harper website, the ship to the Philippines. Unfortunately, I cannot

Jeonghan

Jo Malone Orange Blossom – A citrus floral fragrance. Sharp, fresh, uplifting & soothing. Top notes of cedrat, green notes & clementine leaf. Heart notes of orange blossom & water lily. Base notes of orange blossom & lilac. Fun Fact: Jimin of BTS also used this cologne. Available in Zalora and you can buy the 2ml sample here.

Mingyu

Side Note: Wonwoo is my bias but I think Mingyu and I have the same taste in perfume.

Le Labo Santal 33 – I own this perfume before I even know Mingyu uses this because this perfume has a cult following but some may argue this is overhyped. But honestly, it is an acquired taste. For me, the leather and woody notes are quite strong, and it’s a bit spicy but the dry down is a bit powdery. Overall, this is not the perfume I often wear. I almost forgot I own one! Le Labo doesn’t have an official retailer in the Philippines yet, but you can preorder this from Les Senteurs PH, a perfume collecter/shopper, and you can buy a decant from Vial. You can also buy a decant here.

Diptyque Philosykos – Another perfume that is also in my collection. It smells like fig leaf (the most potent smell for me), a bit woody, and coconut. It comes in 2 versions: Eau De Toilette and Eau De Parfum. Besides the longevity, the only difference between the two versions is the EDP smells more creamy coconut. Fun Fact: Jin of BTS also uses this perfume. You can buy it in Rustans and a decant is available here.

Santa Maria Novella Melograno – I just bought this one and waiting for it to arrive so I cannot share my personal experience with it yet. But according to their website, Melograno is a fragrance of pomegranate tartness on powdery background, launched in 1965. Top notes: bergamot, orange, cyclamen, ylang-ylang, rose, and pomegranate. Heart: iris root, cedar, vetiver, ferns, oak moss, tobacco leaf, and hawthorn. Base: labdanum, patchouli, opoponax, amber and vanilla. I pre-ordered my bottle of this from Les Senteurs PH. They don’t have an official local retailer yet, and I couldn’t find anyone that sells decants or a sample vial either.

THE8

Just a heads up, Minghao loves floral scents! It’s so obvious with his collection.

Diptyque L’Ombre Dans L’eau – I have this perfume in my collection too. I bought this immediately after smelling the Diptyque Baies candle. I Googled if they have a perfume counterpart of that cult fave candle and a lot of people recommended this perfume, It’s true, they do smell alike. For me, the berries note is very prominent with a hint of rose. This is available in Rustans and you can buy the 2ml sample here.

Diptyque Baies Room Spray – Minghao obviously likes the scent of blackcurrant berries and roses because he also owns this room spray which has the same scent as the perfume above. This is also available in Rustans.

Lola James Harper #7 The Rainy Days in the Lake District Room Spray – Either Minghao also uses room spray as a perfume like Joshua or he really likes his room to smell good. This room spray has notes of Myrrh, Labdanum, and Ylang. You can buy this directly from the Lola James Harper website.

Jo Malone Cypress & Grapevine – This cologne has a fresh, aromatic scent, powered with woody notes of trailing grapevines. Depths of amber ground this verdant scene in intensity and sensuality, for a bold and compelling effect. This is part of Jo Malone’s intense cologne line so it’s a bit more pricey. You can buy this in Rustans and you can buy a decant here.

Le Labo Gaiac 10 – This perfume is only available to purchase in Tokyo, Japan. But a lot of people say that it smells good. It’s a woody fragrance for men and women. I honestly don’t know where you can buy this locally, but it doesn’t hurt to inquire from Les Senteurs PH. But you can buy a decant here to know.

Jo Malone Pomegranate Noir – This one is often sold out so I haven’t tried it yet. According to Jo Malone’s website, it has daring sensuality, encapsulated in scent. Ruby-rich juices of exotic pomegranate, spiked with pink pepper and Casablanca lily. Warmed by temptingly-smoky guaiac wood and patchouli. You buy Jo Malone from their official Lazada page, but you can also buy a 2ml sample here.

Gucci Bloom – This perfume is created to unfold like its name, capturing the rich scent of a thriving garden filled with an abundance of flowers. Tuberose and jasmine combine with Rangoon Creeper—a unique flower discovered in South India that is being used for the first time in perfumery to create a rich fragrance that transports the wearer to an imaginary garden. This is available in Rustans and you can buy a 2ml sample here.

Vernon

Dior Sauvage – An aromatic Fougere fragrance for modern men. Classy, crisp, spicy, clean, warm & uplifting. Top notes of Sichuan pepper & Calabrian bergamot. Heart notes of geranium, lavender, elemi, pink pepper, vetiver & patchouli. Base notes of cedar, labdanum & ambroxan. Recommended for spring or summer wear. This is available in Zalora, and you can buy a decant here.

Dino

Diptyque Vetyverio – A citrus floral woody fragrance for men & women. Light, crisp, clean, greenish & uplifting. Top notes of mandarin, grapefruit, lemon & bergamot. Heart notes of ylang-ylang, rose, geranium, carrot seed, nutmeg & clove. Base notes of dry cedar, vetiver & musk. Recommended for spring or summer wear. You can buy this from Zalora, and the 2ml sample is available here.

DK

Byredo Bal D’Afrique – This is one of my favorite perfumes. I even have this in different variants and the one I often use almost every time I go out. And I often get a compliment on how I smell good with this. It’s a good balance of floral, woodsy, and musk scents, not one overpowering the other notes.

It has top notes of earthy buchu, spicy-musky African marigold, and zesty bergamot, lemon, and neroli, the fragrance’s sweetheart of cyclamen, jasmine petals, and violet are perfectly counterbalanced – dancing atop a heady base of black amber, Moroccan cedarwood, musk, and vetiver. Decadent and romantic, intense but fresh, the Bal d’Afrique Eau de Parfum is a love letter to Africa, is completely oil and paraben-free, and is composed using only the highest quality materials.

Byredo doesn’t have an official retailer in the Philippines yet, but I listed trusted local Byredo resellers here and you can buy a 2ml sample here.

So far these are the perfumes worn by Seventeen members that I know of. As always, I will update this list if I learn of new perfumes and stores where to buy them in the Philippines.
