I have been obsessing with perfumes lately and the Kpop group Seventeen. So I was thrilled to learn that I was wearing the same perfume as some of them. I know it sounds crazy but if you’re a fangirl, you know the feeling of having something in common with the members of your favorite kpop group. Below are the perfumes worn by Seventeen members and where to buy them in the Philippines, including decants and 2ml samples.

Answer: These are all gathered from their interviews, live streams, video fan calls, fan meetings, eagle-eyed Carats who spot their stuff from every photo/video, and other online content.

♥ Jo Malone Blackberry & Bay – It has a deep, tart blackberry juice, blending with the freshness of just-gathered bay and brambly woods. Vibrant and verdant.

♥ Hermes H24 – This perfume has an enveloping sage, an electrifying narcissus, an invigorating rosewood, and a warm, metallic note of sclarene. It is a lively, sensual, and bright perfume.

♥ Creed Aventus – In a W.Korea interview, Dino mentioned that he often sees a bottle of this perfume in their car and S.Coups has been using this perfume for 10 years now. It’s safe to say, this is his favorite. It is a Sensual, audacious, contemporary scent that contains notes of black currant, pineapple, patchouli, jasmine, musk, and ambergris.

♥ Byredo – S.Coups recently revealed in a video fan call that he’s been using Creed and Byredo perfumes lately. We all know which Creed he uses already, but he did not specifically mention which Byredo perfume he uses. Some fans speculate it is the Blanche, which is the most popular of the brand.

♥ Jo Malone Orange Blossom – A citrus floral fragrance. Sharp, fresh, uplifting & soothing. Top notes of cedrat, green notes & clementine leaf. Heart notes of orange blossom & water lily. Base notes of orange blossom & lilac. Fun Fact: Jimin of BTS also used this cologne.

♥ Ormaie 28° Eau de Parfum – Jeongham revealed this is the perfume he’s currently wearing in his recent GQ Korea interview, which is a gift. According to Ormaie’s website, 28 ° is a solar note reminiscent of a summer walk. White flowers, monoi, and shea butter, like a heatwave, the scent of holidays.
I saw that this is available in SSENSE but locally, I haven’t found a reseller yet. Try inquiring to Les Senteurs PH, a perfume collector/shopper, they may be able to source this for you. Also available in Harvey Nichols for UKD225.
♥ Creed Virgin Island Water – On the Going Seventeen Episode 86: BOOming Outing 2), Jeonghan was spotted using this perfume. As you can tell from the name, it is a tropical scent. It smells like lime and rum with creamy coconut.

♥ Acqua di Parma Colonia – Not sure if he’s actually using this or just an ad in his Instagram. It has a classy citrus, floral, musk with a creamy, soft, and warm depth to it. But longevity is not that good.

♥ Acqua di Parma Blu Mediterraneo – This was also featured on Jeonghan’s Instagram. The whole perfume house does Italian citrus scents. This has a beautiful fresh scent, but longevity and sillage are mediocre.

Joshua
♥ Blue de Chanel – A citrus woody fragrance for men. Deep, fresh, intense, vibrant, sensual & seductive. Top notes of the citrus accord, vetiver & pink pepper. Heart notes of grapefruit, dry cedar tones & labdanum. Base notes of frankincense, ginger & sandalwood.

♥ Lola James Harper #9 The Comic Store of George – This one is a room spray that Joshua uses as perfume. It’s him who introduced me to Lola James Harper after I watched his Vogue interview with Vernon. But I haven’t tried this exact scent yet, I ended up getting the #11 The Coffee Shop of JP, but according to their website #9 smells like a wood floor, the vintage books & magazines. I know it may not sound so nice but I have a perfume which is Byredo 1996 that smells like vintage books and magazines and I love it.

ICYMI: Joshua has a collaboration with Lola James Harper. It is a candle called “Joshua Hong Han River Walk” and it cost EUR64. I haven’t tried it yet but it is on my wishlist to buy this Christmas.
♥ Le Labo Baie 19 – In his GQ Korea interview about his essentials, this was the first perfume he showed. He said he likes to use this for layering so he uses this often. It has a green, earthy, watery scent to it like water running over mossy rocks or the smell of warm soil when there’s a sudden light rain during a very sunny day.

♥ Diptyque 34 – Joshua also showed this in the same GQ interview. He mentioned he bought this because of the pretty bottle which is different from the regular Diptyque bottles. The one he got is the limited edition bottle. It smells like gin and tonic with a slice of lemon in it. It’s fresh, sparkling and aromatic.
Since this is a limited edition, I couldn’t find it anymore. But a decant is still available in Shopee.
♥ Maison Francis Kurkdjian Baccarat Rouge 540 – Joshua said he likes woody scents, but he wanted to try something different and discovered this perfume. This is one of the most expensive perfumes but the sillage and longevity are amazing. It lasted 48 hours on me and it even left a scent on the bed. The combination of saffron and amberwood is amazing but the scent profile is insanely overdone.
A lot of perfume brands like Ariana Grande copied this. But if you want the OG like Joshua, you can buy this in Saks Fifth Avenue starting at $210. This is also available in Rustans and a decant in Shopee.
♥ Tom Ford De Noir – Joshua who picks his perfume depending on his mood and clothes, mentioned in his GQ Korea interview that this perfume is suited for the summer season, even though it looks like a sexy goth perfume. It’s an earthy with a heavy rose scent.

♥ Tom Ford White Suede – Another perfume from the same brand that Joshua said is suited for summer. Jaehyun of NCT, Kihyun of Monsta X, and Minhyun are known to use this perfume too. This has notes of musk, leather, and suede.

Wonwoo
♥ Tom Ford Bitter Peach – Before Wonwoo revealed this is his perfume, I already tried this in Sephora when I was in Singapore. This was one of the perfumes I wanted to try but ended up not buying. It doesn’t smell bad, it’s just not my type of scent. If I remember correctly it is fruity and floral but in my head, it’s like a fermented peach, it’s sweet but quite sour.
You can buy this on Tom Ford Beauty’s official page in Lazada in a full bottle and 10ml atomizer. But you can buy a 2ml sample here. This is also available in Sephora US for $395 and Harrods for UKD280.
♥ Dior Sauvage – This is one of the popular perfumes among Kpop idols. Han of Stray Kids, Wooyoung of Ateez, and Jay of Enhypen, even Vernon are known to use this perfume. Now, Wonwoo was seen spraying this on himself at an event because he recently modeled this perfume and Miss Dior Blooming Boquet for a Japanese magazine. This perfume is aromatic for modern men. Classy, crisp, spicy, clean, warm & uplifting. Recommended for spring or summer wear.

♥ Maison Margiela Replica Lazy Sunday Morning – On his Weverse Live last 3rd of September 2024, Wonwoo mentioned that he is using this perfume. This was ranked Kosme Japan’s #1 best-selling perfume in 2023. It smells powdery and fresh like a lychee. Yes, lychee, not the linen soapy scent that I imagined based on its name and photo from the box. Longevity is mediocre but it is a safe blind buy.

♥ Maison Margiela Replica Jazz Club – Wonwoo also mentioned in another live last 30th July of 2024, Wonwoon mentioned he was using this one. This one lasts a little longer than the Lazy Sunday Morning, but it’s not for everyone. It has a combination scent of rum, coconut, and dried tobacco scent. But less smoky than their other cologne By The Fireplace.

DK
♥ Byredo Bal D’Afrique – This is one of my favorite perfumes. I even have this in different variants and the one I often use when I go out. And I often get a compliment on how I smell good with this. It’s a good balance of floral, woodsy, and musk scents, not one overpowering the other notes. Decadent and romantic, intense but fresh, the Bal d’Afrique Eau de Parfum is said to be Byredo’s love letter to Africa.
Byredo doesn’t have an official retailer in the Philippines yet, but I listed trusted local Byredo resellers here and you can buy a 2ml sample in Shopee. Also available in Nordstrom for $290 and in Cult Beauty for UKD155.
♥ Kilian Moonlight in Heaven – In his ELLE Korea interview, DK mentioned that he bought the Kilian Moonlight in Heaven because of its bottle and after reading the scent description he got more curious. This perfume is marketed as a unisex scent and it is refillable. The prominent notes are grapefruit, mango, and creamy coconut with some white flowers. It is a very summery scent, perfect for tropical climates in my opinion. However, longevity, projection, and sillage are mid.

♥ Polo Ralph Lauren Ralph’s Club – In the same ELLE Korea interview, DK also showed this perfume. He mentioned it has a very sexy scent. Use it if you want to feel sexy.

♥ Prada Infusion d’Iris – On his Instagram Story last June 1, 2024, DK shared the perfume he’s currently using. It is said to have a powdery iris scent with some orange blossoms.

Mingyu
Side Note: Wonwoo is my bias but I think Mingyu and I have the same taste in perfume.
♥ Le Labo Santal 33 – I owned this perfume before I even knew Mingyu used it because it has a cult following. Some may argue that it is overhyped. You can read my full review here. But honestly, it is an acquired taste. For me, the leather and woody notes are quite strong, and it’s a bit spicy, but the dry down is a bit powdery. Overall, this is not the perfume I often wear.
You can buy Le Labo in Greenbelt 5 (they just opened last January 2024). You can also buy a decant from Vial if you don’t want to commit to a full bottle yet. You can also buy a decant in Shopee. It is also available in Cult Beauty for UKD216 (they ship internationally) and in Nordstrom for $97.
♥ Diptyque Philosykos – Another perfume that is also in my collection. It smells like fig leaf (the most potent smell for me), a bit woody, and coconut. It comes in 2 versions: Eau De Toilette and Eau De Parfum. Besides the longevity, the only difference between the two versions is the EDP smells more creamy coconut. Fun Fact: Jin of BTS also uses this perfume.

♥ Santa Maria Novella Melograno – I just bought this one and I love it, a very unisex perfume. It smells like pomegranate at first spray and dries down to a soapy-powdery scent like you just had a shower. I even spray this to myself before sleeping and I wake up smelling good. According to the Santa Maria Novella website, Melograno is a fragrance of pomegranate tartness on a powdery background.
I bought my bottle of this from Les Senteurs PH but you can buy a decant in Shopee. Also available in Moda Operandi Global for $150.
♥ Chrome Hearts +33+ Eau De Parfum – This perfume was spotted on Mingyu’s mirror selfie posted last November 9, 2024, on Instagram. Not much is known about this $500+ perfume besides the description on Chrome Hearts’ website that it has “notes of spicy citrus, strong but warm and hypnotic. With riches of sensual oils.” It doesn’t even have a Fragnatica page. And Chrome Hearts doesn’t even have testers, only a $200+ roll mini version. But someone on Reddit said this is an acquired scent. Not good for blind buying.

Just a heads up, Minghao loves floral scents! It’s so obvious with his collection.
♥ Diptyque L’Ombre Dans L’eau – I have this perfume in my collection too. I bought this immediately after smelling the Diptyque Baies candle. I Googled if they have a perfume counterpart of that cult fave candle and a lot of people recommended this perfume, It’s true, they do smell alike. For me, the berries note is very prominent with a hint of rose.

♥ Diptyque Baies Room Spray – Minghao likes the scent of blackcurrant berries and roses because he also owns this room spray which has the same scent as the perfume above.

♥ Lola James Harper #7 The Rainy Days in the Lake District Room Spray – Either Minghao also uses room spray as a perfume like Joshua or he likes his room to smell good. This room spray has notes of Myrrh, Labdanum, and Ylang.

♥ Jo Malone Cypress & Grapevine – This cologne has a fresh, aromatic scent, powered with woody notes of trailing grapevines. Depths of amber ground this verdant scene in intensity and sensuality, for a bold and compelling effect. This is part of Jo Malone’s intense cologne line so it’s a bit more pricey.

♥ Le Labo Gaiac 10 – This perfume is only available to purchase in Tokyo, Japan. But a lot of people say that it smells good. It’s a woody fragrance for men and women.

♥ Jo Malone Pomegranate Noir – This one is often sold out so I haven’t tried it yet. According to Jo Malone’s website, it has daring sensuality, encapsulated in scent. Ruby-rich juices of exotic pomegranate spiked with pink pepper and Casablanca lily. Warmed by temptingly smoky guaiac wood and patchouli.

♥ Gucci Bloom – This perfume is created to unfold like its name, capturing the rich scent of a thriving garden filled with an abundance of flowers. Tuberose and jasmine combine with Rangoon Creeper—a unique flower discovered in South India that is being used for the first time in perfumery to create a rich fragrance that transports the wearer to an imaginary garden.

♥ Frederic Malle Musc Ravageur – In his interview in W Korea with S.Coups where they check each other’s bags, S.Coups pulled this perfume out from Dino’s bag which is quite popular with Korean idols. This was spotted in Hwang Minhyun’s extensive perfume collection, and G-Dragon also collaborated with the brand to design a limited edition bottle for this scent.
