Films are not dead, they still have their charm. Not knowing how your photos will turn out gives you that mysterious, exciting feeling. And then seeing them processed is the best whether it turned out great or not. If you just got your first film camera and are wondering where to develop your film in the Philippines, keep reading for some options.

1. Sunny16Lab – I learned about this one from a photographer friend. You can get your photos back in one to 15 days max. They offer scanning and processing services for disposable and film cameras (35MM, 120, 110, and APS film). Once the film is scanned, you can choose to have the digital copies emailed, printed out, or both. They offer their services nationwide and worldwide. You can opt to send your films to their lab through same-day delivery like Lalamove, etc., or mail like LBC, J&T, and other couriers. You can read their FAQ here.

2. Fotofabrik – They develop 110, 35mm, & 120 films including disposable cameras and they offer processing for both colored and black-and-white film. For standard processing and scanning, you can expect your photos to be done in five to seven business days.

3. Wonder Photo Shop – This is where I buy my Instax films but I just learned recently that selected branches process and scan films. Two of those, their main office in Sto. Domingo, Quezon City, and another at the Fujifilm Concept Store in SM Megamall offer same-day pick-up. While the other 18 branches will take 10 days for the colored film, and one month for cross-processing film.

4. Southlab – If you are looking for a place where to get your film developed in Laguna, then this one is for you. They are based in Sta. Rosa City, Laguna and you can send your films to them yourself or through the courier of your choice. They can process and scan your films and even send back the negatives to you. You can also inquire about them through their Facebook page. (UPDATE: As of late 2023, there have been complaints that it takes them 2-4 months to process the films and their customer service is slow in replying.)

So far these are the places I know where to get your film developed in the Philippines. If I discover more especially in other places than Metro Manila, I will update this post.
