What is Aromatherapy?

Aromatherapy is a form of alternative medicine that uses essential oils to improve a person’s health or mood. Aromatherapy may be used for the treatment of respiratory problems, skin conditions, stress, and other problems. It is claimed that aromatherapy can promote healing, reduce anxiety and depression, improve sleep quality, and increase energy levels.

The mechanism of action in aromatherapy is not well understood, but it is thought that the essential oils are absorbed through the skin and interact with the body’s nervous system. There is some evidence to support the use of aromatherapy for anxiety and depression, but more research is needed. Aromatherapy may also help improve sleep quality in people with insomnia.

What is Laughter Therapy?

Laughter therapy, also known as humor therapy, is a type of psychological therapy that uses humor to treat mental disorders and emotional problems. Laughter therapy is based on the belief that laughter can improve one’s mood, relieve stress, and boost overall mental health.

Humor has been shown to have psychological and physiological benefits. When we laugh, our bodies release endorphins, which are the body’s natural painkillers. There are several ways you can do this. For example, you could:

  7. Herbal teas: Drinking herbal teas can be a great way to relax and unwind. Chamomile, lavender, and lemon balm are all good choices for promoting relaxation.

Meet Masae Itanani, Also known as Ms An

“Many people are not good at healing and may not even realize that they are not good at it.

Don’t neglect your ailments, taking care of yourself means taking care of those around you and

Born and raised in Japan, Masae Itanani knew from a young age that she wanted to work with children. She became a childcare worker after junior college, but soon realized the importance of healing and maintenance for not only childcare workers but also mothers and teachers. She quit her job as a childcare worker to have a chance to offer this type of healing.

Ms An (Masae Itanani) is the founder and director of Aroma Salon Angelica. She is an aromatherapy and herb specialist who opened the salon to offer mental and physical maintenance/well-being.

While working as a childcare worker, she realized that childcare workers, mothers, and teachers are all burdened with many responsibilities that exhaust them. Being determined to provide the solution, Masae left her job as a childcare worker to open her salon which offers healing and maintenance for the mind and body.

Masae suggests the benefits of incorporating herbs and aromatics plants into one’s daily life, to help the body recover from fatigue. She offers courses and tea parties online to help people feel a little healing, and by laughing three times, she believes that people can boost their immune systems.

She values laughter as a means of boosting the immune system and believes that drinking herbal tea can help people heal not just through knowledge, but through the five senses.

Aroma and laughter therapy can be used to help heal several different ailments, both physical and emotional. Some of the conditions that it can be beneficial for include:

Masae started her initiative to help others feel better. She now offers healing services that can help people feel more at ease. The name of the initiative Aroma Salon Angelica is also significant, as Angelica represents both angels and a helpful herb for women.

Challenges and Success

Ms An discusses the challenges and successes of the initiative, highlighting how she was able to overcome the difficulties posed by the Corona disaster. She was unable to have clients come in person but was still able to connect with them online. She recounts how she enjoyed meeting new people through online lectures and tea parties.

She feels that the initiative will bring about changes in people, specifically that more people will take care of themselves and their surroundings. People who are not good at healing will become more aware of this and hopefully be more proactive in taking care of themselves.

Future

Her goal includes spreading the benefits of herbs to both producers and consumers and creating a space where everyone can laugh and enjoy life.
