Last week I wrote a review about another Good Molecules product that helped prevent my maskne. Today I will do the Good Molecules Niacinamide Serum review the one I used to treat the post-acne marks (dark spots) that I like to call post-maskne. Again, this is not a sponsored post. I bought the Good Molecules products with my own money.
If you haven’t read my previous post and you’re not yet familiar with Good Molecules, it is a brand founded by a team of beauty industry veterans. They created skincare solutions with best-in-class ingredients, backed by research and formulated for effectiveness. They never tested on animals as well. The idea behind Good Molecules is simple: skincare that works at a fair price.
Good Molecules Niacinamide Serum targets breakouts, uneven skin tone, enlarged pores, and texture. It is suitable for all skin types. Great for combination/oily skin.
It's unscented. (Some people doesn't like it.)
WHAT IS IT?
Good Molecules Niacinamide Serum claims to promote smooth, even skin and minimize the appearance of pores. Formulated with 10% Niacinamide (vitamin B3), this lightweight serum helps to refine skin tone and texture for a brighter, healthier-looking complexion. You can read its full ingredient analysis in INCIDECODER.
APPLICATION: Apply a few drops to your skin in the morning and at night before oils, moisturizers, and creams. Suitable for daily use.
SCENT: This is unscented. Literal
PACKAGING: Just like most serums, this is also packaged in a glass bottle with a dropper.
FORMULA & TEXTURE: It’s is very light and absorbs fast into the skin. Perfect to layer with another product.
Honestly, I didn’t really buy this niacinamide serum. This full-sized bottle was a freebie when I bought the BHA Clarifying Gel Cream during their brand launching in Lazada Philippines.
But last October, I ran out of Skin 001 Madagascar Centella Ampoule (review of this ampoule will be posted soon) so I finally decided to use it. After 2 weeks, I experience no purging or anything negative with it so I kept using it.
Until around the last week of November, while I was preparing for my friend’s wedding in December because I’m a bridesmaid, I noticed that my post-acne marks that have been on my face since 2020 have lessened! Additionally, my skin also looks dewy and glowy, very healthy. FYI, I didn’t get a facial because of COVID restrictions in my country. And as of writing this review, I’m on my second bottle now.
