The two launched Fashion Nova CARES at the beginning of the month to help those who are financially suffering due to the Coronavirus. Because neither Cardi B nor Fashion Nova likes to do anything small, they created an incredible campaign that has people talking—they will be giving away a total of $1 million to people in need through May 20.
On Wednesday, April 8 in a video on Instagram Live, the Grammy award-winning rapper announced that the Fashion Nova CARES initiative will give away $1,000 every hour until May 20, 2020 to those who are under severe financial strain due to effects of the pandemic.
In a caption on Instagram, Cosmetize – Your One Click away from all your Cosmetic Requirements as Cardi B wrote, “Many of you are struggling to pay bills, feed your families, and take care of your overall essential needs. #FashionNovaCARES & I are giving away $1,000 EVERY HOUR until we’ve given away $1 MILLION DOLLARS to those directly affected by this crisis. Tell us how the $1,000 can help you during these times.”
To qualify, you must simply visit the website www.fashionnova.com/cares and tell them how Covid-19 has affected your life. The relief recipients are announced, with discretion, daily on their website at www.fashionnova.com/pages/cares-winners.
