Missha Wish Stone Tint Velvet Review

In honor of National Lipstick Day, I will be featuring my five favorite lipsticks from Korean and Philippine brands. Because I’m sure many of you are familiar with many western brands, so let me introduce some of the best from our side of the world starting with the Missha Wish Stone Tint Velvet review.

VERDICT
MY THOUGHTS
The Missha Wish Stone Tint Velvet is not transfer-proof or long-lasting. But it is pigmented and when faded, it leaves a lovely tint shade. But it feels like a thick butter on the lips.
PROS
Hydrating
Pigmented
Beautiful design
Affordable.
CONS
It transfers a lot.
Feels like a greasy butter on the lips.

WHAT IS IT?

Missha’s Wish Stone Tint Velvets don’t just twinkle in the light like real gems, they claim to leave the lips with a bold wash of color too. With a whipped texture, these lippies dry down to a semi-matte finish that wears well and feels comfortable on the lips. It comes with five shades and this one I got is Innocence Orange Coral.

PERFORMANCE

APPLICATION: Twist open and take an appropriate amount, then gently apply on your lips.

SCENT: It smells sweet like fruit candy with a hint of citrus.

PACKAGING: Doesn’t it gorgeous to look at?! The tube is shaped like a gemstone, that is why I think they decided to use a see-through plastic box to package it. Each contains a total of 4.6ml and honestly, I only bought one because of its beautiful look. I don’t even care of the lipstick is good or not.

TEXTURE & FORMULA: It feels like a thick lip cream that has a semi-matte finish which feels like a hydrating butter rather than moisturizing on the lips. If you have chapped or dry lips, it will show.

MY EXPERIENCE

The Missha Wish Stone Tint Velvet is not transfer-proof or long-lasting. But it is pigmented and when faded, it leaves a lovely tint shade. That is probably why they called it “tint” rather than a liquid lipstick. Although, one swipe can’t cover the entire lips especially if you have dark lips like mine. Overall, for the price and look, this is a good lip tint. Will I buy it again? Yes, but not for myself. I find this a really good gift for my friends.
