Lipstick + Blush + Eyeshadow: Colourette Colourtint Review

In honor of National Lipstick Day, I will be featuring my five favorite lipsticks from Korean and Philippine brands. Because I’m sure many of you are familiar with many western brands, so let me introduce some of the best from our side of the world. The third product I will introduce a cult favorite from a Philippine brand. Many Filipinos love it for their affordability and quality. Learn more about it in this Colourette Colortint review.

NOTE: I bought two of this Colortint in Zola and Liv shades. Unfortunately, I lose the photos so I am using the beautiful photos from Colourette’s Instagram instead.

VERDICT
MY THOUGHTS
Colourette Colortint lasts long and it's really pigmented. Easy to blend on the skin and very affordable. But the nail polish packaging is terrible.

PRODUCT RATING

WHAT IS IT?

Colourette Colortint is an oil-type lip and cheek tint with a lasting matte finish. It is boldly pigmented to smoothly coats lips and skin with even layers of vivid hues that are true to color. It claims to be comfortable hydrating formula moisturizes lips with argan oil and beeswax; protects against environmental aggressors with SPF15.

PERFORMANCE

APPLICATION: Can be used on eyes, cheeks, and lips. Apply with clean fingers and blend evenly.

SCENT: It smells like vanilla.

PACKAGING: If you’re not familiar with this product, you might think this is nail polish like my mom did. It’s because of its tiny glass bottle and applicator is the same as your common nail polish packaging. And I am not really a fan of the brush applicator.

TEXTURE & FORMULA: Despite being oil-based, it doesn’t feel greasy on the lips. It feels light and smooth. It sets nicely and fast as well. But take note, I have a friend who brought this to Japan on a ski weekend and her Colortint became solid! So don’t put this in your refrigerator or on your winter holiday.

MY EXPERIENCE

I really love the formula of the Colourette Colortint. It lasts long and really pigmented. It is also easy to blend on the skin and very affordable. For its price, it can go a long way! The only thing I didn’t like is the nail polish packaging. But overall, I like it and I will buy the Colortints their new shades I like. I am also eyeing their Shimmertints.

WHERE TO BUY?

You can buy the Colourette Colortints in Colourette’s official Lazada page for Php249 each. Or in their kiosks nationwide.
