Asian Beauty Bloggers You Should Know & Follow

Some of you may have noticed this, it’s all about skincare these days not makeups. And just this past year, more people are now focusing on their skincare routine for a better-looking and healthier skin than cover them up with makeup which is, to be honest, a bad habit since it can worsen some of your skincare problems. So last time, I posted about Skincare Influencers in Instagram (which focuses on Asian skincare) you should follow according to your skin type, this time I’m going to list down some Asian Beauty bloggers you should know and follow to get the latest trend updates and tips on Asian skincare. These ladies created their blogs out of love for the skincare, and it’s easy to start a blog, so you know this is their passion and you can really trust their reviews.

Fifty Shades of Snail – The OG of the Asian beauty blogs. If that statement still doesn’t convince you to check out her site, then you should know that Jude or Fiddy (whatever you like to call her) writes not just how the product worked on her skin, she really writes an in-depth review from ingredients and how they should work on your skin, to even packaging. Besides product reviews, she also shares her roundups of faves and least fave, skincare and self-love tips, and personal stories.

Musings Of A Muse – Whenever I do a research about products I want to buy, or I already have but I want to know other people’s opinions, I always end up on this blog. Muse does not only features Asian brands but also beauty products from Western brands like Revlon, Too Faced, and even Drunk Elephant. I actually love her post about explaining why Drunk Elephant isn’t working on your skin.

Cosme Perks – Just like the blog I mentioned above, I also discovered this one through Google search. Whenever I research a product especially those that are not the well-known in the West so there’s not really much information about it in the English language, there’s a huge chance I’ll find it in this blog. Well, it’s because this blog has more than one writers unlike most blog listed here, including mine, that are only maintained by one person. And just like Fifty Shades of Snails, they also write an in-depth review of the products from ingredients to packaging.

Geeky Posh – I’ve been talking in-depth reviews in this post, but no one is more detailed when it comes to product reviews than Jenny Wu. Seriously, she’s one of my go-to Asian beauty bloggers! Her product reviews mention on the top of her posts how to use the product, she also lists the irritants, scent, texture, and even the finish of the product. And in the conclusion, there’s even a rating. Even her list of faves and empties are very detailed. Plus, she accompanies each review with beautiful photos.

Moiko Beauty – She’s one of my favorite skincare influencers in Instagram, and I also happen to love her blog too. Sonia features in-depth reviews of beauty products with beautiful photos to accompany it and often times they’re the latest releases that everyone wants to try like Liah Yoo’s Krave Beauty and the highly covetable Wayskin which is a portable skin-analyzing device. This blog is in the Spanish language though, but there’s always Google Translator and its plugin to help you read her blog if you don’t speak Spanish.

Style Vanity – Well, duh! Why look somewhere else when you’re already here?! Just kidding! Well, not so much. Although this is obviously a shameless self-advertising, I assure that this is a pretty decent Asian beauty blog with in-depth reviews and updates on the latest trends… and I even do my best to explain those bizarre-sounding skincare trends in Korea like the glass skin, honey skin, cloudless skin, or whatever future trend that will compare skin to an object.
