Honestly, I bought this Peripera Fashion People Carrier Set for only one reason: It’s cute! But knowing that Peripera produces good products is also a plus. Since it’s a mini-sized carrier for a full face makeup which contains the best-selling lip products from Peripera, I think this set is not just a good Christmas gift for your beauty junkie sister, friend or girlfriend, it’s a great gift for birthdays, congratulating for a job or graduating, or for any reason, you can think of.

If you noticed, Peripera changed their packaging this year. Their previous packaging (which they were known for) features a cute gothic girl with huge eyes, while this new packaging is following the latest trend in design: minimalism. Honestly, I like this minimalist look because gothic girls are so 2005! But besides the new packaging, they also added new products to their lines such as the Ink Velvet and the Ink Airy Velvet which their answer to the growing popularity of matte finish lipsticks. They also expanded beyond lipsticks, in this set, they included their concealer and contour product but they also sell foundations and color correctors now. But for now, I’ll review the products in this set.
Peri’s Ink The Velvet Review
WHAT: Gorgeously hued tint that has a velvety, almost whipped-like mousse texture that glides effortlessly onto the lips, leaving them with vivid pigmentation that stays put. Its hydrating formula keeps the lips looking plump for up to 6 hours, so you don’t have to worry about constantly checking in the mirror for touch-ups throughout the day.
SCENT: It smells sweet like strawberry candy.
PROS: Peri’s Ink The Velvet is highly pigmented, and I know you read that phrase a lot from me, but it’s really true when I say a lipstick is highly pigmented. It has a mousse-like texture but with a matte finish that isn’t drying nor sticky.
CONS: It feels a little heavy and takes a while to set on the lips.
WHERE TO BUY: You can buy this in Hi Charis for Php440, Style Korean for $9. This is also available in K-Beauty Cafe for Php350, Zalora for Php450 and Beauty MNL for Php430.
Ink the Airy Velvet Review
WHAT: Just like the Peri’s Ink The Velvet above, this one feels weightless on the lips hence the name “Airy” but it’s equally pigmented which makes this product great for doing both a full bold lip look and a gradient (ombre) lip look.
SCENT: It smells like powder, specifically a Johnson & Johnson Baby Powder.
PROS: It’s a lightweight, highly pigmented, non-sticky with a good matte finish that doesn’t feel dry.
CONS: Takes a while to set on the lips.
WHERE TO BUY: You can buy this in Hi Charis for Php440, Style Korean for $9. This is also available in K Beauty Cafe for Php360, Zalora and Beauty MNL for Php430.
Vivid Tint Water Review
WHAT: In my previous Peri’s Tint review, this one was my least favorite. In fact, I hated it. But with a new packaging, I think it comes with a new formula as well. I noticed it is now a little thicker. It’s still watery and lightweight but it’s more pigmented now. You can really see the tint on your lips like you sucked a lollipop. It’s now worthy of its name “vivid”.
SCENT: It smells like apple juice.
PROS: Lightweight and looks natural.
CONS: Doesn’t last that long.
WHERE TO BUY: You can buy this in Style Korean for $7.20. This is also available in Zalora for Php380 and in Beauty MNL for Php370.
Ink Concealer Review
WHAT: A concealer with silky smooth coverage. It claims to mask all your blemishes and pores with a soft-focus, airbrushed blur.
SCENT: It has a mild floral scent.
PROS: I have brown skin, so obviously this is not the right shade for me. But I do like that it isn’t oily nor sticky. And it glides on the skin smoothly, in fact, I like to use this on my under eyes for brightening effect. But for the coverage and other claims, I’m not sure because it’s the wrong shade for me.
CONS: It only has 2 shades, and both are not a match for those with dark skin tones.
WHERE TO BUY: You can buy this in Style Korean for $10 and in Zalora for Php460.
Multi Shadowing Review
WHAT: A contouring product that you could use for your cheeks, nose and even on your eyes. This one is exclusive to the Peripera Fashion People Carrier and I’m not sure when or if it will be available separately.
SCENT: It smells like Vaseline lotion.
PROS: Non-sticky, doesn’t cake and easy to blend.
CONS: Not so pigmented.
WHERE TO BUY: As of the moment this is only available in the Peripera Fashion People Carrier Set.
SHADES
These are the shades of each product. From lower left to right: Multi Shadowing, Ink Concealer, Vivids Water Tint, Ink The Airy Velvet, and Ink The Velvet. Peripera’s lipsticks are hands down, really good. In fact, those shades lasted for over 12 hours on my arm even after I showered.
