Do you want to be the next Anna Wintour, Rachel Zoe or perhaps the next big fashion designer? Whatever it is you want to be in the competitive world of fashion, you must study hard and know the essentials.

Have you ever dreamed of studying in Parsons School of Design at The New School? Ya know, that prestigious school for creative people. Getting in the school, as I have heard and read, is quite hard. Extra harder if you do not live in New York City or lives anywhere in the US.

What if I tell you that you can now have a Parsons education even without relocating to NYC? And yes, I’m serious.

I’m so thrilled to tell you that Teen Vogue had a partnership with Parsons School of Design! They created a new online fashion program called “Fashion Industry Essentials Certificate Program” that will help you launch your career in the fashion industry.

“By partnering with Teen Vogue, we can now offer future fashion industry leaders across the globe a chance to learn the skills needed to start in the industry in a way that both democratizes the process and provides insightful, real world experience,” says Andy Atzert, the vice president for distributed and global education of The New School.

The education program opened last July 15. And online classes will begin on September 15. So you still have time to enroll!

What will you get from the program?

When you “graduate” from the course, you get a fancy certificate in Fashion Industry Essentials from the leaders at Parsons School of Design and Teen Vogue, proving your completion of the program. Which is something you can put on your résumé to stand out from the crowd. Plus, the courses will give you more context and information on how to make it in this competitive field of fashion. You’ll get insight into exactly how Teen Vogue editors and top leaders in Parsons School of Design think and do their jobs. Therefore, gathering a 360-degree view of the industry.

But just because it’s an online program, it doesn’t mean it will be easy. The course is actually 42+ hours of online instruction and self-study. But don’t worry, each course has very special video lessons. So there’s a posibility you’ll see some familiar faces. Like Aliza Licht aka @DKNYPRGirl, Rebecca Minkoff, and Teen Vogue edtior-in-shief, Amy Astley. And more!
