I already have a pimple treatment that I truly love because it’s effective and works fast, the problem is, VMV Hypoallergenics Id Monolaurin Gel is quite pricey! So I still look for an alternative sometimes. And recently, my go-to derma clinic recently released their own pimple gel treatment and it cost more than twice times cheaper! Of course, I did not hesitate to buy but is it good? Keep reading this Flawless Pimple Clear Gel review to know more.
WHAT IS IT?
Flawless Pimple Clear Gel is an acne-control product. It claims to be an effective home care treatment to control breakouts. It clears out mild to moderate inflammatory acne lesions or inflamed pimples. This product also helps lighten blemish marks and improves the appearance of pimple scars.
INGREDIENTS
It contains Vitamin-derived ingredients, such as Niacinamide, which is sourced from Vitamin B3, and Retinyl Palmitate, a mild form of Vitamin A, scientifically blended with Iris Florentina and Centella Asiatica plant extracts to effectively speed up healing from acne, redness, skin discoloration, and premature aging.
PERFORMANCE
APPLICATION: To flatten, dry and clear out pimples, use Flawless Pimple Clear Gel twice daily. Simply apply a thin layer of the gel on affected areas after washing the face. Results can be seen as early as 7 days.
SCENT: It smells a little like lemon.
PACKAGING: It is packaged as is, a tube, with only a plastic wrapper to seal it.
FORMULA: Flawless Pimple Clear Gel has a thick formula that is a little sticky but at least it does not sting.
RESULTS: I had a pimple when I bought this so I immediately used this after I got home and washed my face. I know it said results will be seen in 7 days, but I still hoped it will work fast. Not as fast as the VMV Id Monolaurin Gel but at least a little closer to it. But you really need to wait. However, 7 days have passed and my pimple, it did shrink, but it was still there! So I stopped using it and went back to my old pimple treatment.
But then, I had an Advance Anti-Acne Facial in Flawless and I was left with painful little dots from pricking my face to extract whatever inside my pimples and remove the whiteheads. My facialist suggested I used my Pimple Clear Gel the next morning and so I did try it again. I continued using it for the next 2 days and I noticed my skin was smoother and the dark spots that my acne left were lightened. I think it’s safe to say that this product works best as post-acne treatment. When after you prick your pimple and extract it. You know, like By Wishtrend Teca 1% Cream but without the moisture barrier.
VERDICT
PROS: It does not sting and lightens acne scars. It also heals your acne, however…
CONS: It works better as a post-acne treatment. Because a full pimple bump takes a while to heal or flatten. In my experience, it took me more than 7 days.
I think it’s better to purchase this if you had an anti-acne facial in Flawless.
