I have oily skin and I live in a very warm and humid country that is why I hate using moisturizer, it makes my skin feel so greasy. But despite that, I still need a moisturizer because if my skin does not have enough moisture, I break out. And that is worst than feeling greasy on my face. Luckily this brand, Cloud Cosmetics, which I’m obsessing with this past month offers that kind of moisturizer I need with perks. Read my Cloud Cosmetics Pore Gelly review below to know more.

Cloud Cosmetics Pore Gelly is a lightweight moisturizing gel that claims to diminish the look of prominent pores. It hydrates as it locks in moisture and formulated with superfood actives, namely tomato, tamarind, broccoli, aloe vera, and citrus. It also claims to help boost skin clarity and vitality, and improve collagen production. Infused with sebutrol to help regulate skin’s sebum production. And lastly, paraben-free, cruelty-free.

APPLICATION: In the morning, I apply this after washing my face before applying sunblock and makeup. I don’t use this at night because I use a different moisturizer, but you can also use this at nighttime as part of your skincare routine.

SCENT: It smells like sweet strawberry candy.

PACKAGING: It is packaged in a pump plastic bottle. The label is designed by Soleil Ignacio which is minimalist yet very chic and fun.

FORMULA: It says the name is “gelly” but personally I find the formula more like a gel with pink beads which I don’t really feel. I think they dissolve when you spread the Pore Gelly on to your skin.

RESULTS: I love using this in the morning when my skin tends to be more oily because of the heat. I love how lightweight this moisturizer and serves as a good primer as well for my foundation. It doesn’t melt on my face, unlike most moisturizers that lessen the longevity of my makeup. I also find my skin look smoother when I used this but not sure if it improved the appearance of my pores.

PROS: It’s lightweight, have sebum-control, it can be a good primer and smells so sweet but it will not bother you.

CONS: Still unsure about diminishing the appearance of prominent pores.

You can buy Pore Gelly in Cloud Cosmetics website for Php329 (around $3). They ship in the Philippines and have resellers abroad, just check their website. Lastly, they currently have a Buy 1 Take 1 promo on all their products until December 15, 2017.

You can also buy this product in Beauty MNL for the same price of Php329, but right now they’re on sale for 19% off (not sure until when though). So in there, it will only cost you Php265.
