Wake Up With Fresh Breath – Dentiste Toothpaste Review

During this time full of short-lived relationships, most people believe that romance no longer exists except in movies and novels. But the truth is, it’s not about who we’re with at night rather, all of us are searching for that one person who we want to wake up to every day and face the world with. That’s why Dentiste Toothpaste is all about the good morning kiss. Dentiste is the first toothpaste in the world that couples can use before bed and wake up with fresh breath, so they can kiss each other in the morning. With all the promises… does it really work? Keep reading my Dentiste Toothpaste review to learn more.

A little background, Dentiste has been giving couples good morning kisses in the Philippines for 9 years and this year marks their 10th year anniversary and millions of tubes sold. Last Valentine’s Day 2015, they held an event called “Mystery Box in BGC”, wherein they surprised nearly 500 couples with a sweet surprise. You can watch the video by clicking this link.

What is it?

Dentiste is a nighttime toothpaste made with 14 Natural extracts. Dentiste’ Toothpaste activates at night to inhibit odor-causing bacteria so you have fresh breath that lasts till that good morning kiss. They claim that 9 out of 10 couples have felt the difference in their breath after just one night of use.

PERFORMANCE

APPLICATION: As instructed, I started using the Dentiste Toothpaste the first night I received the package. My first impression is, the texture is much thicker than those average toothpaste we buy in the drugstore. It was difficult at first for me to transfer the product to my toothbrush at first. You squeeze too hard, you’ll get more than you needed. You squeeze lightly, it won’t come out. But you’ll get used to it eventually… and this is not some euphemism!

PACKAGING: It comes in two sizes, 60g and 160g which are packaged in a regular toothpaste tube. But I like that the cap is attached to the tube, unlike those other caps that screws and somehow gets lost.

SMELL: Dentiste Toothpaste smells like a mix of herbs and mint which is a soothing smell for sleeping. It kinda resembles the Himalaya Herbals Toothpaste which is for sensitive teeth and bleeding gums.

RESULTS:

I should start this part with a disclaimer: I’ve been using this product for over a week now. I religiously use this every night, but I also eat midnight snack while binge-watching in Netflix before going to sleep. And before you start preaching, I’m aware it’s a bad habit and not good for my diet and oral health. My point is, I cannot really tell you if you will really wake up in the morning with a fresh breath by using Dentiste Toothpaste. Although I gave my brother a tube, so I will update this post if it worked for him when he gets home. He’s away in college.

But personally, compared to my usual toothpaste I do wake up with less bad breath despite eating a bunch of junk food or fast food at midnight. They don’t claim it, but I think my teeth are whiter when I used this because its thick texture kinda helps. It reminds me of oil pulling, but instead of coconut oil, this is really a toothpaste.

PROS: It keeps your breath smells nice while you sleep, even when you had a midnight snack. It also has a thick texture that may (or may not) help whitens your teeth but personally, it worked for me.

CONS: It’s a nighttime toothpaste. I haven’t tried using this yet in the morning, but when it comes to my budget I prefer to buy only one toothpaste.
