Did you know that Women in the creative industries are historically underrepresented with only 11% of Creative Directors being female? Okay, that’s a rhetorical question, you don’t need to answer. That is why Adobe Creative Cloud is giving ten female students from around the world the chance to display their artwork on giant walls in Brooklyn, NY — together becoming the “biggest” outdoor student art show.
Adobe is calling all female students to tag the best work in their Behance portfolio with #madethis and #Colossal to be considered for the world’s “biggest” outdoor student art show. Whether you paint or animate, design apps or hand letter, or just have an idea you want to see blown up on the Brooklyn landscape – they want to see it! The winners’ artwork will appear on walls around New York’s Bushwick, Brooklyn (named the 7th coolest neighborhood in the world by Vogue!)
Not only that, the ten female students will travel to NYC in September to see their wall being created by Colossal Media and watch it unveiled to the public. Plus, each students will receive a cash grant for their work and will be eligible to apply for an Adobe Creativity Scholarship. Isn’t that awesome?!
