Last October 3rd, I had an opportunity to try FLAWLESS‘ latest facial treatment called All-Natural Ultimate White Facial. I was informed it is the Philippine’s first facial treatment that uses a combination of natural exfoliators, antioxidants and whitening agents to lighten the skin and treat hyperpigmentations, photodamage and premature aging. Yes, you read that right, premature aging. As a twenty-one-year-old beauty blogger I am telling you that it is never too early to start using anti-aging treatments, especially if you live in a tropical country like the Philippines (which means you’re often exposed in the sun), frequently sleeps very late, and have a habit of going to bed without removing your makeup. Also if you smoke, I highly recommend to start NOW! Because those are just some of the major causes of premature aging that are often committed by us, twenty-something people.
Back to my FLAWLESS All-Natural Ultimate White Facial experience, on the day of my appointment my chin had a very nasty acne left by my previous period (bummer!) but the facialist informed me before she started that the treatment does not include pricking and she will avoid the acne area to prevent it from breaking out more. In my head I was telling myself “this will be a painless facial treatment”… or so I thought.
Step 1:
The facialist started by cleaning my face with a soft hot towel, then she applied a gel with a nice herbal smell smoothly throughout my face. It was left for a few minutes then wiped out by another hot towel. I have to admit, the hot towel were relaxing. No wonder they often offer it in first and business class passengers in most airlines.
Step 2:
Then she applied another on my face but this time it felt like a cream, but it also has a nice herbal smell. But this time she didn’t wiped it out. It was time for the next step but before she proceed she asked about my pain tolerance. I wasn’t really scared that time, or the thought didn’t sank in immediately in my brain probably because I was so relaxed.
Step 3:
The facialist told me she was going to apply a mask on my face but warned me it’s going to hurt, but she also said it will be tolerable. Considering myself as a veteran on painful beauty -and also medical- treatments, I said I’m ready. So she started applying this cold cream and yes, it has a nice herbal smell also but this one is also minty, which explains why it feels cold.
Halfway through applying the mask, I already starting to feel some “stingy” sensation. It’s like millions of uber micro bees are stinging my face. When the facialist was done applying it, I could really feel the pain she was talking about. I immediately asked her how long it will stay on my face, to my horror she answered “30 minutes.”
Outside, I’m trying to trick myself and portraying “I’m cool, I’m relax. No big deal” inhale… exhale, something like this:

Yes, it was painful! Fortunately, they have a solution. The facialist turned on a mini desk fan and pointed it on my face. The cold breeze from the fan lessens the pain until I could no longer feel it, just like an ordinary face mask. And the brief back massage helped too.
Step 4:
After 30 minutes, the facialist finally remove the mask and then she applied something like oil that smells like citrus. And then I’m done!
The facial treatment took, more or less, an hour. It was my first session, but I already noticed a little improvement on my face. The dark spot on my forehead that I kept hiding with makeup, caused by last month’s acne due to my period, lightened! The dark circles on my eyes too are almost gone. It’s like FLAWLESS All-Natural Ultimate White Facial fast-forward my bleaching cream’s job!
If you’re wondering if I’m willing to do the treatment again, absolutely YES! You see, I’m a bit lazy, I often skip my beauty regimen (which I don’t recommend) , so this kind of treatments are what I really need. Plus, it’s all-natural, that’s why I like it more.
