By now I assume you are aware of the seemingly endless array of subscription boxes, from Try The World for gourmet foods (with selections of music, movie and culture tips in each boxes) to Birchbox for beauty samples. And of course, there’s also Beauty Box 5 and Glossy Box. However, I’ve been seeing a serious influx of fashion-based and “customize your own” monthly services lately, all of which seem focus more on you choose what you will get but yet there’s still the element of surprise—new presents every month!—and the idea of small luxuries.

These four fashion and beauty subscription boxes are the adult equivalent of the tooth fairy, delivering cool clothing, accessories, and beauty products to your doorstep. So if you’re tired of your old subscription boxes or you’re just going to jump into subscription bandwagon, I laid it out all the details, prices, brands and things you should know about each style box so you can subscribe to one and start receiving boxes ASAP.

her fashion box - fashion and beauty subscription boxes you should know

1. Her Fashion Box ($39/month): After taking a “Choose Your Style” quiz, you’ll be sent 2 to 3 on-trend fashion accessories, at least 4 beauty and lifestyle deluxe-samples tailored to your personal style, and you can cancel this monthly box anytime.

Brands to Expect: Maybelline, House of Holland, Model Co.

rent the runway unlimited

2. Rent The Runway Unlimited ($75/month): I’m sure you’ve heard of the dress and accessory rental service, Rent The Runway, but now the company has branched out to an unlimited subscription. You’ll fill out a style test where you choose your favorite items from Balenciaga to Oscar De La Renta. You’ll receive 3 pieces to strat off with. You can keep them as long as you want. Once you’re done sporting your pieces, you can swap them for something new. You’ll also get free shipping both ways and all items are insured! This is the most expensive subscription box in this list but the products they offer are often set of luxury brands that we mostly couldn’t afford in one slash of our credit cards.

Brands to Expect: Elizabeth & James, Eddie Borgo, Badgley Mischka, Moschino, Kate Spade

julep maven box

3. Julep Maven Box ($19.99/month or $24.99/month for a Luxe Box): This one if for nail art enthusiasts. After taking a “Maven Style quiz” to determine your style profile, you will receive over $40 (or $60  for Luxe Boxes) worth of limited-run nail color and/or innovative beauty products that Julep is famous for. And you can personalize your box as much (or as little) as you like.

You can get your first Julep Maven Box for free, just use the code: FREESIZZLE

memebox

4. Memebox ($12-$39/month): If you’re into Korean Beauty products because of their cute packages or you’re just very curious, Memebox is the right box for you. I like it that they offer the utmost freedom by steering away from traditional subscription-based programs. Order from Memebox only when you want to, as often as you want to. So technically, it’s not really a traditional subscription box we all familiar with. No style quizzes to determine what you will get and you have a freedom to choose which box (and how many) you like from their vast array of themed boxes like Girls Night Out, Water Proof Makeup, Earth & Sea, etc.

Regular Memebox comes packed with 4 – 8 full-sized products and deluxe samples while the Superbox series comes with it’s own theme and contains only full-sized items. Many of their products are sourced, packaged, and shipped, directly from Korea straight to your doorstep. But they have headquarters to San Francisco that’s why they can ship their boxes to anywhere in the world.

Brands to Expect: famous Korean Beauty brands like IOPE.
