Jared Leto has had great hair since his Jordan Catalano days, and throughout his press and red carpet appearances for “The Dallas Buyers Club,” it’s become quite clear that the actor — who has already won a Golden Globe, a SAG Award and an Oscar for his performance — has the most sought-after hairstyle in Hollywood right now. His hairstylist Chase Kusero confessed that a lot of people are asking about “Jared Leto Hair” even actresses like Julie Roberts, Olivia Wilde and Rachel Bilson are asking about his hair.
Last night’s Oscar red carpet event was highly anticipated not only because we are excited to see what our fave actresses like Lupita Nyong’o and Jennifer Lawrence will wear but also because (admit it!) we want to see how Jared Leto opted to style his hair. His beachy waves at the event made me swoon just as much he does, though I’m sure his ‘do will be the most requested blowout at salons nationwide (or even worldwide) tomorrow, it turns out it’s a second day style with no blow dryer required. Here’s how to get the look:

1. Start the day before your big event and prep your wet hair with Vidal Sassoon Pro Series Waves Primer Spray, applying it throughout the hair to enhance your natural wave.
2. Apply Vidal Sassoon Pro Series Waves Pomade to the length of the hair, providing a flexible hold and soft, glossy curl definition. Create the desired part and let hair air-dry.
3. The next day, spray Vidal Sassoon Pro Series ColorFinity Dry Shampoo in Rich Darks to the roots to refresh your second day hair while protecting hair color.
4. Spray Vidal Sassoon Pro Series Heat Protect & Shine Spray to the ends to protect hair from heat before straightening it. Take several sections of hair and straighten for a smooth look.
But in his Flaunt Magazine editorial, Jared Leto’s hairstylist Chase Kusero used salt spray and coconut oil to create beautiful and shiny beach waves. For salt spray I recommend John Masters Organics Sea Mist which is also the product I recommended to achieve Lorde’s wavy hair in her music video “Royals” while for the coconut oil I love Vitress Hair Cuticle Coat and Johnson baby Oil with Aloe Vera and Vitamin E. Yes, you read that right, Baby Oil! It’s good for the hair too but don’t use too much cause it will really give major wet look hair.
