Take a clear look at the photo above. Notice anything besides our clothes which are little retro, 90’s or just weird styles to be in the same shot AND Aaron (the tall guy) and KP’s (the guy wearing pink long sleeves, black vest & pants) faces like soaked from flour or released their inner geisha (with western clothes though)?
No? Let’s play a game called “I spy”
I spy something small, dark and it’s like oval.
Still haven’t found it? Here’s a clue… Look below the photo, but not too low.
Still no? Then look at the photo below for the answer. Focus what’s inside the red circle.
No, not my cute wedges! My nasty scar!
It may seem small on the photo but it’s around 2 inches wide and 1 inch tall and clearly even heavy makeup couldn’t cover it because the WHOLE audience even those seated on the farthest row (i.e. my aunt, uncle & grandma with poor eyesight who lost their front row seats) of our theater play could saw it. And yes, including my [then] crush who went to watch our play. Bummer? I know.
A little backstory, I got that nasty scar from when I was riding as a passenger on my friend’s motorcycle during our
high school barkada reunion last summer of 2010 to buy some foods and more drinks on a nearby convenience store because the resort’s convenience store was close, at summer, their pick season. Anyway, I forgot how hot the exhaust was and unconscionably relax my legs until my left leg touched the exhaust. AWWWWWW!!!! Yes, that was my reaction too. I could blame my friend who’s driving like where fugitives being chased by police but overall, it’s MY stupidity and it marked me for the rest of my life. People say, time heals all wounds, but scars remain.
Because of it, I got insecure on wearing miniskirts, daisy dukes or anything short and sexy because it will be exposed. I tried covering it with makeup, even henna tattoos. I opt for trousers, jeans, leggings, or boots just to hide it. I even went far to wearing on a chiffon wide leg pants on the beach! While on photos, I magically removes it on Photoshop.
BUT NOT ANYMORE!
Nuffnang Philippines teamed up with Flawless for a blog contest, in line with the National Flawless Month this December, where three bloggers could win an extravagant makeover they wish! Either Shape and Sculpt some areas in their body to be sexy, confident and bag a new boyfriend/ girlfriend for the upcoming summer, achieve Bella Cullen whiteness with Powerpeel or, like me, get a nasty scar remove by Fractional Needling Therapy to finally gain back confidence and wear miniskirts and daisy dukes again.
Fractional Needling Therapy is the newest, safest and most advance technology for scar removal by employing tiny needles infused with medicines into the problem area. It’s not just actually for scars, it can also solve other problems like acne, dark spots, wrinkles, stretch marks and even hair loss!
I know just the sound of needle can already make some people have panic attacks triggered by some childhood trauma from the hospital but I got no problem with it. I don’t care how long each sessions will take, even how many session it will be. My desire to finally get rid of my scar is stronger. After all, according to Dita Von Teese, beauty is hard work.
Lastly, in celebration of its 11th birthday, Flawless is inviting everyone to take advantage of its 1 + 1 beauty blowout this National Flawless Month. If this isn’t the best time to boost or jumpstart your top to toe beauty transformation, then I don’t know what is. Go to www.flawless.com.ph or visit a clinic near you for more information.
